Anyone here enjoy "Achewood"? |
|
My favorite comic strip. On-line only, I believe. I got hooked on it like a drug, frankly. It doesn't deal with daily reality in this world. But it captures it nevertheless. It's subversive in the best, most clever way imaginable.

No, wait! I'M "Nobody." Dig? Also known as Bobby Z. I mean, in other words: "Hello. Nobody here. How are you."
Correct response?
"Hello Nobody. It's a hard rain's gonna fall."
To which I would respond: "I'm a young god. Yer a science student. Why should I care what you have to say? Huh? Give me one good reason. Ah, see? We're not so different after all. Heh-heh-heh."
And then it just goes on forever.

2. It's got a post-modernist feel to it |

When I understand it, which is seldom.
That's OK. I like things I don't understand.
I have cats.
