I do realize this lacks in originality, but I am always curious
about this:

The prototypical question: If you were stranded on a deserted isle with only one album (CD) and it can be a double album...well you know the rest.

It has become a point of interest to me because someone just pointed out to me that my choice has not changed between the ages of 13 and 37.

Cough up a few answers and I'll tell you my unchanging first choice, (assuming you care that much).

1. I would make a device that would reform that CD into an antenna.

Then I would send an urgent S.O.S.

4. The Complete Steely Dan Citizen Set. I am 58 btw and have
held this is my #1 road/travel music since I was about 30

a big double of Simon and Garfunkel would do nicely as well

8. interesting evolution on that list...
Frampton and Queen more recent than Anthrax.

Even though I grew up on Social D and Bad Religion, the one album that I could listen to over and over from 1983 til now is The Wall.

13. don't feel ashamed, younger or older
as an album it holds it own with its peers, for a quarter century i have deferred to it as "the" album to define lead lindes, melodies, harmonies, even to teach music theory to my nephew.\
