4. A wild horse - free, strong, beautiful.
But in this lounge you have cats, followed after a while by dogs, and then there's nothing.

5. How about the American Bison
It's big, strong, and peaceful until provoked. It provides warmth, shelter, food, and tools for living to many. Plus after being near extinction for some time, it is in the midst of a comeback.

6. eagles :D
Lately they're drawn with the mean faces and stuck in front of flags, so of course violent war-nuts wanna sing about the Freedom Eagles or some crap like that.

But I think a bird is a good national animal and eagles are beautiful. Owls too, wise owls!

or squirrels  :loveya:

9. Well...
It would have to be a warm-blooded animal, so no cold blooded snakes, lizards, or gators.

It should be an animal associated with intelligence vs. brute strength, so no donkey.

It needs to be resilient and near the top of the food chain, no prey animals.

It should be an North American species (never could figure out the republican elephant).

Therefore, I go with the Puma...

13. A mutt
A 100% certifiable heinz 57 variety mutt of no possible discernable parentage. Just a little bit of everything thrown together, and an absolute determination to survive no matter how difficult things become.
