I just saw the funniest thing... |

...at my local library. I was in the science fiction section, and what did I see? The Left Behind series, there in science fiction. I thought that South Texas was more conservative than that! :rofl:

I tried reading a couple of them, and it was pure fiction (ok writing in spots) with lots of prayers mixed in. Just ignored those parts, as they were not really relevant to what was going on!

Science fiction is identified by the role that fictional technology plays. In fantasy, it's magic and not technology, that supports the genres premises

Our annual book fair was last weekend. I never saw so many of the Left Behind books in one place outside of a bookstore. Even then there weren't that many copies.
And they all were being left behind. Couldn't get anyone to buy them at $.50/copy.
