Favorite Online Book and DVD seller? |
|
Edited on Thu Oct-18-07 08:32 PM by Mike03
A few months ago I cancelled my account at Amazon to save money and to protest the censoring of liberal book reviews, but I can't help myself any longer. New Kubrick DVDS, new novel by Mario Vargas Llosa, too many good books and DVDs are coming out.
Any suggestions on reliable, fast shipping online book and/or DVD vendors? And I would prefer a vendor that does not require me to create a new account.
Thanks...

actual suppliers maybe?
Edit: Well that works for me, but I generally buy used books, so there may not be anything equivalent for new books.

2. I use amazon to research how good a book it, or how bad it is |
|
and then buy locally if possible.

4. Please support your local indie bookstore! |

They usually can get what you want just about as fast as the big A & you'll be keeping your dollars in town.

claims to have the lowest prices online and free shipping on orders... will do price matches, I believe. Some stuff they really kick Amazon's butt.
buy.com does pretty well, too, and I believe has comparison prices from other sellers, and a lot of things qualify for free shipping.
