I am a little bored tonight |
|
I am off tomorrow so I can stay up late. I am all out of wine and beer but I really don't want any. I suspended my Netflix account because I felt like I was too busy to watch enough movies to make it worthwhile. And now I am bored, go figure. TV doesn't appeal to me for some reason, although I have The Science Chanel on in the background. In every single video game I have, I am stuck at some very early point, so it's just frustrating to play right now. Don't want to read, although I have three library books that need to go back tomorrow that I have not read. I have plenty of work I need to do but I am procrastinating. I don't really know what's my problem tonight.
Maybe I should get involved in a flamewar or something.
So, what's better Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill? (actually I sort of like the Macaroni Grill- although I have never figured out how they grill the macaroni- Doesn't it fall through the grill?). I think we even have a Johnny Carinos too, or used to, at any rate. I've probably eaten there too.

1. Olive Garden of course, but only if |
|
they serve veal and have a least one breast-feeding mother. :P
Actually I like both. But I do like OG's salads better. What I don't understand is Biaggi's (sp) Way way overpriced.

2. Well this town pretty much has every chain you could ever want |
|
I guess only the chains do well enough to stay. And Mexican restaurants, which we can't seem to get enough of. I would think that in a city of 300,000, there would be a limit to the number of Mexican restaurants it could support.

3. It's similar here in a town one tenth the size. |
|
Mexican and Oriental restaurants abound. I'd think in a city of your size you could have almost any ethnic cuisine under the sun.

4. Well there is a new Japanese buffet restaurant. |
|
I'm told it's good. We have a great local pizza joint with every kind of beer under the sun. Actually, I've eaten at a place called the Puerto Rico Cafe, although this is deep south Texas. Not so many Puerto Ricans here. But it is different. Reminds me of living in Puerto Rico. Plantain chips instead of potato chips, salsa music on the stereo. Very cool. I hope it lasts.
