If I don't renew my driver's license before it expires do I need to take a driving test |
|
to renew it afterwards? I'm out of state right now and my drivers license is going to expire before I get back to Colorado. When I get there will I have to take a test before they'll renew my license?
BTW I'm not worried about other forms of ID because I've got my passport with me and that's good for years.

2. Thanks, but I can't do that. |
|
I'm not between 21 and 65. In fact, the license I currently have is expiring because I'm turning 21.

I guess I could have looked that up myself for all the trouble I caused you. Sorry :(
In any event, I guess that won't be a problem. I don't think my vision has degraded since I got my first license, although one eye is considerably better than the other. I can see fine with both my eyes open, but I'm always afraid I'll get red flagged in these things.

8. I think I only missed one question when I took the written test |
|
It involved school buses. Instead of answering that I can start driving once they pull in the stop sign, I put down that I had to wait until the bus starts moving again. They said I got that wrong, even though I explained to them that if I started driving while the bus was still stationary I would end up rear-ending the bus. I guess that only made sense to me though. Still passed the test anyway.

9. ahhh yes the written test |
|
the question I missed was
What is the major cause of accidents?
A. Driving in the middle of the road B. Speed C. Failing to stop at light D. Driving while intoxicated
I chose B - WRONG it was D
Speed is the PRINCIPLE cause of accidents... go figure

10. I think not getting your license renewed on time is a capitol offense |
|
If I'm not mistaken.
In reality, you'd probably have to pay a late fee.
