oh man, "Transformers" is god fucking awful. |
|
My beloved fiance is watching it right now...and holy shit, it's so horrible--and I'm pretty toasty right now.
It's *that* bad.
Gah.

My 6 year old nephew loved it.

2. I was actually pleasantly surprised when we saw it in the theatre |
|
I was expecting MUCH MUCH worse and I have to say, it wasn't that terrible, in my humble opinion. I was fully coerced to see it by the family. Plus, the kids loved it. :D

4. Set "Suspension of Belief" to maximum |

At least the characters were interesting. Bernie Mac was funny!

5. Despite the overt propaganda, I thought it OK |
|
One thing that sucked was that they bastardized the Soundwave character. Soundwave was fucking cool as shit.

Then again, I saw it at the dollar theater with a bunch of nerds at 1 am.
I just wish someone other than Michael Bay would have directed it, so you could actually SEE the robots making things go 'splodey.

12. It was by no means a 'good' movie... but it could still be a 'fun' movie if you went along with it. |

8. I almost saw it back when it was in the theaters |
|
A couple of my friends were really into "Transformers" in their childhood and convinced me to go with them. I ended up splitting up from them and seeing "License to Wed" instead, despite getting picked on a lot about it. I just had more interest in a cheesy movie with Mandy Moore in it than a cheesy movie with robots in it, though I'm pretty sure neither are actually worth devoting two hours of your life to!
