25. Well, NASA is working on Jet technology called SCRAM

...Don't ask me what the akronym stands for, I can't keep up with all of them! Suffice to say, a SCRAM aircraft can fly Mach 8 and because of the way the fuel tanks ignite it uses substantially less fuel. Anyway, it's all still on the drawing boards, but theoretically it could mean that a flight from London to Sydney would only take 2 hours instead of 20 (and that would use a whole lot less fuel)

Anyway, OT, but just wanted to say that a "hybrid airplane" is probably on the way!
