Star Trek III: The Search for Trivia |

No one else is starting, so I hope I am not presumptuous in offering this thread.
We all know the Enterprise was destroyed in ST III, directed by Nimoy, but which director has the credit for blowing up the Enterprise the most?

What I like so much about that episode is that the opening teaser is only about 30 seconds long, if that, and it's just "red alert", some panicky stuff, then KABOOM! And straight to opening title.
And every explosion is different - so it was a different model every time, too.
Now, ask a question!

In an episode of TNG, an Enterprise from the past came forward in time, and seriously altered history.
What was the name of the captain of the Enterprise C?
What race of beings were we at war with in this timeline?

something from the official site.
"...Cardassian officer who rose through the ranks from glinn to legate to martyr. Starting out as Gul Dukat's right-hand man on the freighter Groumall in 2372..."
im assuiming that since glinn was the rank this particular officer started at and he was the righthand man to a Gul that that is the direct subordanate, but i could be wrong, and by the way im talking about Damar too.

17. Were we actually at war with the Klingons? |
|
My memory is thinking that we weren't, but things were abso-definitely very tense. The point of sending the C back was in order to show that we were willing to help defned the klingons, which, if we were at war, I don't think we'd have cared about it.
Though of course, after the C alters the timeline, the present day (for Picard) Federation is at war with the Klingons. So if that was the actual question, then yeah, war with Klingons.
And why do I say "we" when talking of the Federation? Wishful thinking? :-)

in one of the original series show with that triad slave gladiator episode, the figters were thralls. I got a 1903 encyclopedia britanica and in the 7 page entry on Family(i started with the F-F? one-got 3 free at estate sale) in Roman times the slaves were called slaves. so wh on the writing staff was a ancient history major?

56. Quark is some Berman abomination made up to help "sell" the show |
|
with idiotic lunacy, like Jar Jar Binks and Neelix.
None of them have function except to serve as the sort of tired cliches that a larger swatch of TV viewerdom expect in their shows.
I hated Quark the first I saw him, and still do. And I was ever so violently offended when they started that crappy little "Rules of Acquisition" BS.
Ridiculous.
Ask me sometime how I really feel, but right now I'm holding back....
