The beagle's acting like there's something behind my book case |
|
She barks, then she sits and listens intently, then she sniffs around the base of it, then she sits and listens again. Of all the things it might be, I hope it's a mouse.

15. That's not odd. Preferring poo or vomit to broccoli is odd. -n/t |

We have a 'seasonal' mouse. (Not necessarily the same mouse every fall/winter) Haven't seen it in a few days, but the dog drove me crazy several nights ago. He was on all-night mouse alert, laying on the end of the bed, staring into the kitchen. The light over the stove is on all the time, for better mouse viewing of course. Off the bed every 15 min or so, race to the kitchen, mouse hides, back on bed, repeat, repeat, repeat...

If not for passing the time during the 'up/down/up/down' stuff, but maybe for smashing the mouse if you get the chance.
(Just kidding, I do not advocate person on mouse violence).

10. She's fallen asleep in front of the book case. |
|
Whatever it is, she's gonna wait it out. She's one determined beagle!
