What I just don't understand about censorship
Bono says "fucking brilliant" on tv and everyone freaks out

I just saw trinity kill a us soldier by throwing a knife into his forehead (matrix on tnt)

"Horrific deplorable violence is okay, so long as nobody uses any naughty languate - that's what this war is all about!"

4. Tell me about it.
In one recent broadcast film, they blurred out a brief glimpse of a woman's breast. But in the next few scenes, they showed (in full) a man being torn apart, limb by limb.

A horror movie, yes, but the real horror is the idea that ultra-violence is far, far better than a normal part of a human body.

Ugh.

i had to hit 30sec skip on tivo 9 times when it went to commercial.

7. I find more and more
Edited on Sun Feb-01-04 02:21 PM by supernova
I'm very irritated at the amount of commercial time in shows. I feel like I'm just watching a framework to connect commercials rather than a story. Esp tru of 1/2 hour sitcoms.

One reason I want a TIVO. I want to ignore all the commercials. It's not like they work on me anyway. Just tell me a story... uninterrupted.

edit: grammar, spelling

8. That is why we have serial shows on HBO, showtime and the
like.
Only things I can watch on TV, other than movies.
