So I'm gonna have to buy a new MP3 player - what should I do? |
|
Half of me says to get an IPOD but I think they are way overpriced BUT just about every gosh-darn MP3 accessory out there is built for IPODs.
So option #2 is to find another player that is relatively priced well AND has at least a 60gig HD plus decent sound quality.
Technogeeks - what are your recommendations?

2. You can buy refurbished iPods. |
|
Also, I heartily recommend Sennheiser earbuds. I've really come to like mine a lot, and I've had them less than a week.

7. Well I bought an 80 GB Ipod for $249 |
|
That's cheaper (per GB) than many flash-based players out there. And about 30 hours of battery life. I wouldn't buy any player that requires Windows Media Player to operate. That program always crashes on me. I was able to use Napster to load my Iriver H10, even if I didn't have a subscription there so that helped. Otherwise I would recommend some player that can use some other media program (WinAmp for example) than Windows Media Player. Itunes and Ipods are very, very easy to use, although Itunes is a huge resource hog. It has rarely crashed on me, unlike its Microsoft counterpart.
Really first you have to decide on the capacity you need. Flash players might be better if you are going to use them to workout. Smaller, lighter, no moving parts to break.
