we are having a pierogi making party saturday am for our christmas eve feast. all are invited. bring booze...it is the only way i can handle my in laws.

i was going to say that if you made them, i would have to do full cavity searches to insure that no pierogi's were snuck out. i went to gitmo to learn how to do one.

7. My mom doesn't make hers until after Thanksgiving

We'll be making them, and will even eat some on the same day (though just enough to get it out of our system until Christmas Eve).

8. we will make about 150 of them.

my mother in law used to make them over the course of the year and freeze them, but since she died (and only gave the recipe to me!!) we make them in one fell swoop with a group of people.
