4. It's going to be a lean Christmas in the Droopy household this year

I'm getting everybody canned soup and crackers. I've decided once and for all that I'm going to be debt free, so I'm not breaking out the plastic this year. Debt free is my ultimate gift to myself. I guess that's kind of selfish considering the time of year, but what the hell, I bet Jesus doesn't mind.

6. For me this means only 50 more crocheting days until Christmas

I don't buy much. One really good present and a few stocking stuffers for my son. For my folks, and for my bosses I donate money in their names to the local food banks.

I'm making two blankets.

There will be several batches of peanut butter fudge for the people with whom I work.

I will probably be cooking Christmas dinner (usually quite elaborate) for some of the other people in my family.

That's about it.
