2. Are talking about drinking then exercising? Or just that you consume alcohol and you also exercise? |
|
The first would be crazy. The latter should be ok, unless you are trying to train for something and perform at a high level. It is my experience that you cannot be much of a drinker if you wanna be the winner.

9. I'm NOT a doctor or anything, but I would be somewhat cautious |
|
if the amount you drank was large, and if the exercise is strongly cardiovascular (as opposed to yoga or weight lifting). Alcohol lowers the blood pressure when it is actively in the system, and then raises it abruptly when it leaves the system (anyone here who is a doctor and wants to correct me, please do!).
Anectdotally, I can tell you that when I was younger, I did run long distances after consuming wine or beer and although I could not recommend it, it didn't hurt me in any way. But it's probably NOT a very good idea.

I'd be concerned about dehydration ...
Since both alcohol and exercise will dehydrate you...
Just make sure to drink lots of water or juice...
That would take care of it, I would think...
