He certainly was a handful to deal with for a very long time. I don't know how she put up with it. Years of severe alcoholism, and before that heroin addiction. It nearly killed him a number of times. Typical rock star with a huge ego and the maturity of a 14 yr old.

He likes the song Wonderful Tonight now, but when he first wrote it, he was in a bad mood, irritated with her for taking too long to get dressed to go out. He didn't like socializing.

He regrets it all now and has a more normal, sober life.
