RIP - Selena
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WTMESWDWMA

I reason I post this is that I just watched "Selena" w/ Jennifer Lopez (who was wonderful in the film. I've seen it a zillion times and it still makes me so sad. Selena Quintanilla-Perez was a beautiful and a grammy award winning singer. She rocked the tejano music world and was on her way to be a superstar. Her death was tragic and I just started to get into her music when she was murdered.

RIP Sweet angel. You still live on in my heart.

Selena and her husband Chris Prez.

1. I really really liked that movie ...
and I always get upset at the end of the movie when she gets killed. I still remember the day it was announced on the news about her death.

4. I Could Fall in Love is a beautiful song.
I remember they released it as a single right before she died. (I think) But it was got so much airplay after she died. Sometimes at work (we used play the radio all night at work) I would have to go into my little office to keep from crying in front of my co-workers.

10. Loved her music. I heard of her early, before she got a major contract,

through a good friend. I went to the memorial held for her after she died and cried like a baby.

Such a tragic, horrible, unbelievable end. I HATE guns.

There's never been one in my possession, but they've taken so very much from me (a good friend accidentally shot in the head), not to mention those that have died senselessly from them (Marvin Gaye, etc).

11. ...
I love her music, had she lived imagine how big she would have become. She was and still remains an absolute beauty.

The movie is very good, my little brother when he was 3 or 4 use to watch it and the ending of the film made him very sad and depressed. I think he had crush on Jennifer/Selena:D. I still get choked up when I hear her music.

Taken so soon, RIP:(
