Let's hear it for Droopy's "Stories from the Road" series!!!

Certainly one of the best--and longest running--recurring series here in the lounge. If I'm lucky enough to see them, I *always* read them, and in my opinion, they are so straightforwardly well-written and revealing of our uniquely American human condition that I am especially proud to call him a fellow Lounger. Always worth reading.

I've only read two or three of his stories, but it's obvious he has a lot of heart

I might not answer to much of his threads but I make sure I read them. The reason I barely answer is because I am so in awe that I don't know what to say. He says it all already.

17. Droopy's writing is only surpassed

by his compassion. I think the ability to see right to the humanity of other human beings is rare, but Droopy's ability to do that shines in his writing.
