If there were official Thanksgiving music |
|
would you play it to shut down those who are already (or have been) playing Christmas music, or would it simply become irritating in the same manner as Christmas music?

Play some death metal. Play the angriest, loudest, most un-christmas music you can find and tell them that you'll only stop when they do.

I can be a vicious SOB when the situation calls for it. I once spent a week playing Dolly Parton, Barry Manalow, Barbra Streisand, BeeGees and other gems to shut up a coworker. Same idea, different ammunition. :P

2. If there were official Thanksgiving music, |
|
then people probably wouldn't start playing Christmas music so early!
Maybe we should start a campaign to declare Radiohead to be official Thanksgiving music!

3. No, they'd just start playing Thanksgiving music the week before Halloween. |
|
Then mix the two right around now.
Enough to make one wish for death.

21. Exactly and I love to listen to that once a year! |
|
Still makes me smile! :D
Our local radio ( WBCN ? ) plays it every year or used to. It's a ritual!

18. Us, too. My mom would start singing it as we crossed |
|
the Centennial Bridge over the Mississippi. I grew up thinking it was written by someone who crossed the Mississippi every Thanksgiving.
