1. What did your dad do in the Army, Aristus?
Interesting combo of insignia - officer, Medical Corps and jump badge.

And a :patriot: to both.

3. He was in the Army Nurse Corps as a Registered Nurse.
He earned his jump wings and became a Senior Jumper sometime before receiving his commission in the ANC. He served in Vietnam as an O.R. Tech and an Air Ambulance officer.

4. Yeah, my grandfather "Papa" was apparently quite the ladies' man back in the day.
He spoke fluent Spanish and traveled frequently to Cuba to go fishing. According to my Dad, he was never without one or two lovely senioritas...

7. Happy Veterans Day
I was telling my father this weekend that my son went camping over the weekend, and that I was worried because it was getting cold. My Dad said, well, I once spent 16 months outdoors. Wow.

Thank you!
