I noticed during The Time of the Viewable Block Lists that someone who shall remain nameless, whom I had thought of as someone who didn't like me but didn't outright hate me either, had me on his/her block list. I thought of the (minor) run-in I'd had with that individual and was like, "Wuh, but, whaaaat? S/he put me on ThermoNuclear Ignore for that? But what about all those nice/helpful things I wrote about that individual?"

This is not a complaint or criticism of that poster, mind you, or any poster who puts me on his/her Ignore list or dislikes me in some other way. Lord knows, I've put people on Ignore for "mild" encounters/exchanges.

I think being the object of someone's severe dislike somewhere is inevitable on the Interweb. Just a fact.

I don't think enough people think of me in one way or another enough to hate me or love me. I don't post a tremendous lot, and I haven't written one of my long essays in a while (pain is the main factor, there), so people are bound to not know I'm even alive or I'm placed in the "insignificant" column. :shrug: Either way, I'm likely not a "hated" individual.

BTW, I've got about 8700 posts and it's taken me about 6 1/2 years to get there. Some people can get that many in 6 months, but I don't think I will ever get up to that level.
