Not necessarily best friends, but friends, and yeah, its hard. Its even worse when you aren't in the same stages in life at all, like they aren't single, or are going away, etc.

unfotunately, I lost my best friend. He wanted to cut all ties. It was fun while it lasted. to be honest, if I had known it was going to ruin the friendship I would have never told him. I miss my friend.
