5. Under the contextual circumstances
y'think you might oughta choose another form of slang?

Unless, of course, that was purposeful...

Certain Other Women in this thread genre have been employing "doubles" of another variety, so I guess you're off the hook.

I can't believe some of the things Teh Bosoms are making me post.

6. Just for you!

Gravity

John Mayer

Gravity
Is working against me
And gravity
Wants to bring me down

Oh I'll never know
What makes this man
With all the love
That his heart can stand
Dream of ways
To throw it all away

Oh Gravity
Is working against me
And gravity
Wants to bring me down

Oh twice as much
Ain’t twice as good
And can't sustain
Like one half could
It's wanting more
It's gonna send me to my knees

Oh twice as much
Ain’t twice as good
And can't sustain
Like one half could
It's wanting more
It's gonna send me to my knees

Oh gravity
Stay the hell away from me
Oh gravity
Has taken better men than me
Now how can that be?

Just keep me where the light is
Just keep me where the light is
Just keep me where the light is
C’mon keep me where the light is
C’mon keep me where the light is
C’mon keep me where keep me where the light is

3. And then have you noticed that you have to like order the "over the shoulder boulder holders"
From friggin catalogs because if you go to a department store, the bras are like all these teensy size 32 Quad A's and everyone looks weird at you as you rummage more and more frustrated.

And then you finally find TWO of them that fit but when the lady at the register rings you up she says, "Now are you aware that if you get three of our bras, the fourth one is free?"

And you look at her like, "Lady I don't have another two years to spend picking out a damn bra while teeny boppers chortle at me behind my rear."

But you don't say anything because after all, you could always go the route of nip and tuck.

I mean, that's the way the society is geared now - you are either thin or you're OUT!

When I was young all the women I admired where voluptuous and it makes you kinda glad that Marilyn is gone already cuz she'd have to off herself another time if she came back.

I mean can you even imagine Monroe as a size 2??

4. Hell yeah, I can relate to all of that and
the last time I bought an 18 hour bra, it stopped working at 6 hours! :P Damn!!!
And forget the underwires!! The last one of those I wore popped out of the fabric,
wrapped around my neck and my co-workers were complimenting on my new choker necklace!!
I swear!!

25. I agree with you about the rigors of bra shopping.
However, I would disagree about the "small" bra availability at dept stores. As someone who is a loud and proud member of the "itty bitty titty committee" there are NEVER bras in my size.

The last time I went for a bra, I was looking for a strapless 34A. Guess how many bras they had in that size? ONE! One stinking bra in the whole store in that size.

There are no bras for the big OR small! :hi:

13. I hear you!
I used to be a very perky 36C and loved them. They were my favorite part of my body.

Then I gained a bit of weight, and gravity started kicking in, and I got older, and, well... it's all downhill from here. Literally. They're not the slightest bit fun anymore. I can't find any bras that fit that don't look like they belong on an 85 year old, and all the clothes in the women's section these days are apparently cut for teenage boys. There is no such thing in the world as a button-up shirt that fits me. If I go out in a stretchy t-shirt I stop traffic, and not in the same way I did when I was 21.

I've been seriously kicking around the idea of getting a reduction, just so I can wear clothes that don't resemble circus tents. But I'm afraid of the surgery.

I don't want any surgery, I don't think but the gravity is really weighing me down... ugh.

I'm just not used to it at all but I get by. Don't fret!

You are loved no matter what your boobs look like! It all comes with getting more mature, right?

So, you are now an experienced, seasoned woman and just love yourself just the way you are! ;)

We do!! :grouphug:
