She had a sore throat last week and in describing her discomfort, she repeatedly referred to her "larnyx."
It was *almost* as bad (though not as uncomfortable)as when I worked with a woman who, in telling me something about her uvula, kept calling it her "vulva" (in the semi-presence of customers, at a retail store.)

i almost lost control of the car. my mom cusses (sh*t and son of a bitch, her fav) but i have NEVER heard her say something like that. so i ask "what did you say?" and she repeats it. and i ask "do you know what that means?" she says "an ass" and i tell her "no try a little further north on the female anatomy." she thinks, gulps and changes the subject.
i HATE those words : c*nt, pu**y, the above mentioned , etc. i never say them and cannot stand to hear them.
