He asked me if I had plans tomorrow night since my evening class is canceled. I said "no," and inquired as to why he was wondering, and he told me that he has a meeting scheduled with the LaraFest '07 (my upcoming b-day party) "planning committee."

I have ascertained that the meeting is not even at a bar, hence, potentially legitimate.

He would not disclose the membership of the committee, except to tell me that one of the members is his "girlfriend". I asserted that this was fine, but that if my party sucks, he will have to dump her.
