I found a cassette recording of my father reading my poetry. |
|
I've transferred it to an audio cd, but now I don't know if I can sit and listen to it.
It just seems a bit scary.
Perhaps one day soon I'll work up the nerve to listen.
But I don't think I can just now.

1. my dad is on tape giving the weather forecast on the radio |
|
will have to ask my brother for it - haven't heard it in years. It would be strange now that he has been gone 22 years.

I can imagine that would be a bit freaky...
There's no hurry about hearing it...
One day, you'll be ready...
BTW, how are you feeling tonight? I hope you're better than you were yesterday, sweetie...

3. No fever or dizziness, but my lungs sure as hell ache. |
|
I slept a good part of the day and didn't feel bad enough to go the hospital, but it still ain't out of the question, especially if I don't stop coughing and sneezing soon. At least it's mostly a dry cough. Funny how sore lungs can make your whole back ache...
