Is huskerlaw around tonight? I'm hearing sustained explosion noises in hollywood--wondering if you.. |
|
...are hearing the same from over the hills where you are. Almost sounds like fireworks, and it's been going on a good five minutes, nonstop.
Very weird.

was it just noise, or was there a vibration too?
We didn't hear or feel anything on this side of the hill. The windows are open and we were just chilling, watching TV at that time so would have likely heard it if it was hear-able.
I just checked KCAL and there's nada there. Odd.

6. I had the same thing happen here just this morning. |
|
Sustained explosion sounds at about 6AM. Really, really weird. Couldn't exactly tell where it was coming from and it's too early for it to be construction.
Bizarre.

Never did find out what it was on this side of the country, and saw nothing on the news.

8. After the first one, which woke me up, I thought maybe it was |
|
an electric transformer. Then it was followed by several more lasting a good 3-4 minutes.
Nothing on the news. No reports of massive power outages or anything like that.
I am wondering now if maybe a truck hauling something started to lose its load. Weird.
