Anybody want to have a Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers Thanksgiving? |
|
Fat Freddy got a live organic turkey.
Phineas: How can you kill a fellow creature of God? Fat Freddy: Easy--it shat all over the back seat of my car. Besides it was humane--I just gave it an overdose of reds.
(Fat Freddy bringing the turkey to the table) Freewheelin' Franklin: So, what did you stuff the turkey with? Fat Freddy: Stuff it? It wasn't empty!

4. I learned about the Freak brothers in high school in the late '70s |
|
A teacher lent me some books to read. I wasn't into the drug culture at all but I appreciated the humor just the same. I suppose the teacher could have gotten into trouble if I had told anyone, which I did not. It just goes to show that there are a lot of different ways to get kids to read.

6. I read 'em about that same time too |

The whole family loved the Freak Brothers. The humor was classic, and it was hilarious to see stoner culture lampooned.
