It was just enough and really pretty. :) There was about an inch of fluffy snow on the grass and big feathery flakes coming down. It was gorgeous! The first snow fall is always fun.

4. Is that unusual for the SE part of the state?
I know it snows in the mountains of NM, but I thought the southern part was a warm place???

2. We did too.
In fact there's 6 to 8 inches on the ground and it's snowing now.

Of course I'm in Northern Vermont, so it's to be expected.

3. We had a few flurries awhile back, but this was our first one that covered the grass.
It makes it look more like a holiday.

5. I live just outside PIttsburgh, and we had snow and cold
as my folks were leaving to go home.

Fortunately it was just on the grass and the garage.

So much for getting my bulbs in!

7. You can still plant them. It is going to warm up this week.
I have planted bulbs in December and they still came up. Good luck!
