DU women, what do you want for Christmas?
According to the AOL homepage, you want a silver clutch and disco ball earrings. That's what they're telling your boyfriend, hubby or SO to buy for you. All I can say is, I'm glad my hubby would never take their advice. Or maybe that's really what some women want?

43. Sephora rules!
I was so tickled to find that I can get my favorite facial scrub (Peter Thomas Roth) and my 2nd favorite perfume (Sake' by Fresh) in the same place!

Plus lots of other stuff.

As it is, I'm getting a replacement mp3 player to sub out the IPOD that just died. I'm losing it not being able to listen to my favorites, and all my CDs are still in Texas!

Edited on Fri Nov-23-07 07:00 PM by ocelot
since I have neither. :( What I would kind of like if I did have someone to give me a Christmas gift is an iPhone, but I wouldn't mind some nice jewelry, either. As it is, I'll have to buy such things myself, but that way at least I might end up with what I really want.

50. Cuisinarts are awesome too.
I have a 25 year old cuisinart that I make real yeast bread in. It's awesome for all sorts of stuff. They come in three different sizes and mine is the middle one -- big enough to make a loaf of bread in. Saves a lot of mixing.

They are also great for cheesecake and all sorts of stuff.

Did you know that the original food processor was made in France by a company named Robot Coupe, and they sold the idea to Cuisinart which then made them in Japan???

Mine has one hell of a heavy motor in it.

I also have a Stainless Steel Cuisinart Teapot that I use every day. My late sister gave it to me and I will never need another teapot. I think about her sometimes when I use it even though she gave it to me about 25 years ago and she's been gone over 17 years......
She had excellent taste in gift giving!
