3. BCBS is trying to decline paying for something they indicated they would pay |
Went to dr in Dec 06, got the usual statement that they weren't covering $300+ of lab work. Called the doc, they said they would resubmit with a different diagnostic code so it would be covered, got an additional statement saying I didn't owe anything in the spring. Last week I get a NEW statement from the same appointment in 2006 saying I owe the doc $300+! WTF?! I'll have to call again next week. Go suck dog ass through a straw BCBS!

7. BCBS refused to pay for my boyfriend's annual physical! |
Edited on Sun Nov-25-07 12:31 AM by notmyprez
You know, the annual physical, which is one of the things health plans pride themselves on paying for, being preventative and all that. He had the physical with his PCP, who is on the plan's list of PCPs. But they refused to pay it, saying that the appointment was in a clinic and they don't pay for clinic appts, only for doctor's office appts. But you know what? His doctor's office happens to be located in the clinic! Yeah, WTF? He had to pay $300.00 for it.

10. BCBS - Blue Choice just raised our co-pay to $25 |
My husband had his neck operated on in June and is now having some more problems. They ordered PT three times a week. Who can afford $75 a week on top of regular doctor visits? Our hospitalization deductible just went up to $1500. We spend more and get less.
