Poll question: Should I return the extra hard drive, mouse, or both? |
|
I bought it recently, at a black friday sale. Along with an ergonomic mouse. Retail price of the HD was $150 and mouse was $100.
On sale, they were $60 for the HD and $50 for the mouse. (then the tax)
Total net cost was $120.
The mouse's battery is not replaceable. Otherwise it's a terrific unit (Logitech Revolution MX)
Should I return the extra hard drive, mouse, or both?

6. Because I already spent a bit on updated computer hardware |
|
Maybe I should use the tools rather than mope about if I should return them, only to change my mind again and spend full price when that day comes.

One mouse. One HD.
The mouse being so lowly priced, I could not resist.
I was thinking of an extra hard drive for data backup, but I do already have a workable spare...

7. I'm assuming this was a cordless mouse, otherwise no need for batteries, right? |
|
In that case, return the sucker. Keep the harddrive though. No telling when you're gonna need one, and no telling how much it'll cost when you do.

8. Built-in lithium ion battery. |
|
Will probably last 2 years. But it cannot be replaced. x( It's a logitech Revolution MX. http://reviews.cnet.com/mice/logitech-mx-revolution/4505-3148_7-32036707.html(Good reviews on it there, despite being a year old)

9. That's just bad design, not allowing it to be replaced. |
|
That, or they're trying to sucker people into buying a replacement every so often.
Probably both. :P

11. IT's always good to have a backup hard drive around. |
|
got one in box 3 feet away. Impulse purchase. 200gb for $60 at Best Buy one recent Sunday. I may just install it and use the old one for backup.
