Rum balls a holiday treat
And they can be made with no special equipment or skills

By HOWIE RUMBERG
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

No fruitcake or Christmas tree-shaped sugar cookie ever put a smile on my face the way popping a coconut-coated orb of chocolate, nuts and Nilla wafers can. And the rum, don't forget the dark rum. Zi-ing!

The mixture gets soft fast, so it is best to refrigerate it for several hours -- overnight is the best -- before rolling the balls.

The rolling is a messy and delicate affair. To shape the balls, gently roll the chocolate between your palms. Don't overdo it or the chocolate will become too soft to work into the shape.

The rum balls are excellent rolled in coconut, but also try them with chopped nuts.

6. Yeah
but the dipwits on youTube cut out the first part. If there is one thing people posting on youtube share it is a complete lack of comedic timing and the "re-enactment" videos illustrate this directly.

The first part of that skit directly makes fun of the NPR-esque hostess of the show especially one's "tremendous rat problem" not that you will see that on youtube.

:eyes:

Still and all time classic.

I was cracking up reading this article in the lunch room. I passed the paper over to a co-worker who got it too.
