Governor Tarkin, we have an emergency alert in detention block A A-twenty-three.

The princess! Put all sections on alert!

Obi-Wan is here. The Force is with him.

If you're right, he must not be allowed to escape.

Escape is not his plan. I must face him alone.

1. Gran Mof Tarkin is a badass.
He pretty much pushes Vader around in Episode IV.

7. He was Governor of the Outer Rim Territories, and mastermind of the Tarken Doctrine.
Vader was a hired gun disinterested in politics, and only concerned with The Force. Tarken could order him around when he needed to.

I was born right around the time Jedi came out, if I recall correctly.

Other than driving too fast and dressing like a hooligan.

He is my man. My dream boy. I'm totally in love with Denis Lawson, the guy that played him, too.

And he was wingman to the ship that delivered the killing blow both times too.

Now that is one Corellian who knows how to beat the odds. :)

23. And he managed to be in the background the whole time.
On the first one, the victory should of been his. But it wasn't, and he stuck by his friend the entire time.

24. He was the brave one. He was the one willing to hang back and get shot at
so the Death Star could be destroyed. He was willing to sacrifice both his life and any personal glory he may have gotten for being the one to shoot that torpedo.

And he did shoot a couple of torpedos into the second Death Star.

25. Yeah, he had to go for the regulator thing...
I remember in the novelization that he said that his 'Torpedos wouldn't even dent' the main reactor.

Good guy.

17. I gotta ask...
Did Han shoot you first? Or did you and/or TK422 take the first shot?

You can be honest. Lucas isn't listening in.

27. TK421!!! I get it now!!!
TK-421
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from TK421)

TK-421 is the "name" of one of the stormtroopers in the movie Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

TK-421 and his counterpart, TK-422, were guarding the Millennium Falcon when they were summoned up the ramp, and then shot by Han Solo. TK-421's armor was then taken by Luke Skywalker and used to sneak through the Death Star.
