10.5% - - made by trappists who brought a west coast IPA style hopping method to the abbey ale.
I do recommend getting the 22 oz corked bottle, however. And don't plan driving anytime soon after. Cheers!

It was great. I remember one of their brands was called "Drakken" or something. Very good indeed.

They are all fairly high alcohol content beers. Lovely design work on the bottle labels.
The company is VanSteenberge, from Belgium (B-9940, Ertvelde, Belgium) www.vansteenberge.com
1. Gulden Draak (Golden Dragon), Ale, 10.5% 2. Bornem Dubbel (Double), Ale, 8% 3. Bornem Trippel (Triple), Ale, 9% 4. Piraat (Pirate), Ale, 10.5% 5. Kasteel Bruin, Brown Ale, 11% 6. Bruegel, Amber Ale, 5.2%
I keep and collect all my unusual European beer bottles.
