Computer graphics question: How do you make 'wallpapers'? |
|
I just got Photoshop CS3 for my MAC, can you use that or is there other software that has to be used? Any books/websites info?

1. Um, yes, you can use Photoshop. |
|
You can use far lesser software too. All you have to do is make a picture fit 1024x768, or 1280x1024, or 1680x1050 or whatever screen resolution you're using. There is nothing more or less to it than that.

2. Hell, it doesn't even need to fit the resolution! |
|
I use photos of the rug rat as wallpaper! I never tile those, though. That's creepy.

So the answer to the question is, to make a wallpaper you need do nothing at all.

4. If you have a Mac, it will do all the work for you. |

In System Preferences, click the "desktop" icon and then select any pic on your hard drive to become wallpaper. It will automatically resize if you select that option.
