we were driving down windey Webster Street, on the way to the docs, when the hood of the car in front of us flew upwards 90 degrees.....they slammed on the breaks, as did we....no accident but I can only imagine what would happen on a high way if that happened...crazy

1. I had that happen once |
|
I was driving my 68 Mustang home from the bodyshop when the hood flew open. They had forgotten to put all the bolts back in it. I was going 65 on the freeway when it happened.

3. Happened to me a year or so ago. I was on the freeway, and |
|
the hood on the truck in front of me flew up. He managed to maintain some control over the vehicle, and somehow got to the shoulder right away. I slammed on my brakes, as did others in the area, and there no was accident, but man, that was freakin' scary!
