An atmosphere so cold that you start to reassess social standards on when and where it is okay to start fires.
It is a cold that wraps around your head making your ears hurt like the first time Japanese pop music and then it invades through you eyes burrowing its way along your core structure until it makes your ass pucker.
It is the kind of cold that makes you wonder if God, or more aptly Al Gore, hates and wants us to be unhappy.
It is the kind of cold that allows you to more fully understand the Russians and the Germans okay maybe not the Germans bad example maybe the Fins they fought off two major superpowers in the second World War not successfully mind but they did put up a brutal fight a bloody effort and do you know why? Because it was that cold and they just didn’t care anymore now they have cell phones.
It is the kind of cold that makes your ears hear the call…. The call of the wild not the great wide open wild its cold there too the call of the desert where it may not be all that warm you know like desert hot or anything but it simply isn’t this cold. This asspuckering cold.
Or maybe I just need a hat. Either way I am going to Vegas next week.
