Poll question: Am I the only one who's sick to death of Bill Clinton?
When we see Hillary, there's Bill, walking right behind her. It's almost as though she's trying to ride on his coattails or something. Personally, I liked him alot better before his wife starting running for president. Can you imagine what will happen if she wins? Thousands of pictures of Hillary and her cabinet with Bill standing behind her, peeping out from beside her head, waving?

32. This is a copycat poll, fashioned after Bertha Katnenengel.....
She posted "Are you fed up to the teeth of all things Oprah"? I guess it didn't come across very well, but I was trying to compare her apparent dislike of a "celebrity" endorsement by Oprah to Hillary's marriage to a celebrity endorsement.

Not one positive option - so, yes - you are the only one who's sick of Bill Clinton, however, none of your options support your cause.

And I agree with the comments expressed here about the Democrat bashing around here. It's beyond ridiculous and is actually rather sad. And at a web site called Democratic Underground! My, you could cut the irony with a chainsaw.

Just a guess.

52. And that's part of the problem, lowering your standards to accept a lesser evil
Just because he's better than any Republican hardly negates the fact that he still promoted a neoliberal economic agenda and wasn't exactly gay-friendly in his policies.

I just don't think he deserves the hero worship that he gets. (And I'm not trying to be a prick or a Democrat basher, I just think the Democrats should aim higher when it comes to picking leaders and heroes.)

18. I got sick of him a long time ago.
Right about the time he wasted two years of the nations time not pushing a progressive agenda because he couldn't keep it in his pants or at least have the sense to screw someone more discrete. Scratch that, he didn't push anything that resembled a progressive agenda beyond his first year in office so it really didn't make much difference. This time I want a Democrat who will leave a legacy that can't be undone after two years of the next Republican President.

and hear him speak in person in Milwaukee in October of last year when he came to campaign for our governor. He was everything I expected and more. Such an intelligent man and a great speaker who could have gone on forever- even though he was campaigning all over the country.

It was great to see a president in the person who had the intelligence worthy of a president.

61. The women were so heated up I thought the sprinklers
were going to go off. There we were, a bunch of middle aged Democratic women standing around on risers for over an hour waiting through speeches for the president to arrive. People were excited and nervous that he was coming, but when he got onstage everyone went nuts. And the mostly female crowd was, well, excited. I heard people saying things like "Look at him, isn't he the most handsome man you've ever seen?" and "Look at his hands, they're so perfect" and "I can't believe I'm this close to him". There was a picture of Clinton taken from the audience that got sent to me and my face is beet red. It was kind of like when the Beatles came to the US in the sixties- same women forty years later!

He was thinnner and older looking than when he was president, but very distinguished. He had something good to say about everyone. I saw him ask the local congresswoman a couple of questions before he got up to speak and he didn't miss a single name or Wisconsin reference during his talk.

And he was so friendly and nice to everyone. I didn't ask for an autograph but one lady took her nametag off and put it on a coke can and he signed it for her. Just the opposite of Bush- instead of being afraid of the public, he genuinely loves people. They had a hard time getting him to leave.
