"Not Writing"
A wasp rises to its papery nest under the eaves where it daubs
at the gray shape, but seems unable to enter its own house.

Ah....writer's block for wasps!
Luckily, I haven't yet been plagued by this one....*fingers crossed*
I like this poem...
Thank you...

3. Yeah, I hope to avoid returning to this level of alienation from self. |

For me, the source of my own "not writing" period was an absence of meaningful self-worth as well as total unawareness of that lack. Now that I understand I'm "good enough" to express myself, to express my thoughts in art, I doubt I'll ever be unable to write again, if that is what I choose to do with my time. But at the moment, the quality of the writing I'm producing is crap. Even though I write it feels like I'm not as connected to my work as I could be. So I thought of this piece and posted it.

My writing is so much a part of me that there's no way I could be disconnected from it.
I have to write, to get the words out.
I'd go mad if I couldn't express myself freely...
