Your faith seems to lead you to a truly morally compassionate postion that values all people much as possible.

I'm very critical of faith when it's all about certain people being better than others. You don't seem to fall into that hole. Good for you, regardless of other people think.

I've been a pacifist for years, but have recently found a theologian/ethicist who puts it into a systematic form better than I did. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

27. I've been on short term prednisone for a few days

to mitigate the arthritis pain for a while. I've been having a wonderful couple of days! :)

I'm not back up to where I was a year ago, but I'm back up to where I was last spring. And given the current standard of things, that counts for a lot. It's a wonderful improvement!

am quite familiar with Quaker and Mennonite thought on pacifism.

One of those links mentions Girard's validating Catholicism, and I think I see possible bridges to other peace theologies. I hope I have timwe to look cvloser at him.
