Did that post bring up a memory I'd soon forget. I was 34 years old, met him in a bar (the first and LAST time I ever did that)went out with him twice before I found out he was married...(all I kept thinking was, my mother would kill me!) I work with some Russian ladies who do front desk duty, answering the phones and so on. A lot of our patients are Russian or Ukrainian, and I love listening when the girls say "Da. Horosho. Das vidanya!" I guess it takes a pretty lady to make Russian sound sexy... :evilgrin:

it doesn't matter for a one night stand but for real passion i need someone who can communicate easily and with style and wit, i myself have a thick accent so there's already enough of a barrier to communication without adding another layer of hassle

it's amazing how tiring it can be to have a real conversation with somebody who has a heavy accent and just can't "get" your humor or even simple clear statements without endless repitition and clarification

i guess this means the visuals matter less to me than they do to many people, for me, there is no real long-term passion or attraction if the other person doesn't have the wit and easy way of talking (a case of opposites attract, maybe! since i don't have these abilities in any language)
