Worst Hair Metal band. Nine bands so bad that you'll want to kick my ass for posting this poll.

I have to go with Winger because Kip Winger just seemed like a genuinely sleazy and slimy individual. Then again, there's Brett Michaels from Poison...living proof of why some animals eat their young.

I've only listed one of each band's hits below, to jog the memory of those lucky enough to have forgotten these weenies.

I remember a commercial that ran on MTV a few years ago for a CD called "Heavy Metal Memories." All of the bands were hair metal / glam acts of the kind listed here. The announcer had a creepy tone of voice as clip after clip of Poison, Damn Yankees, Warrant, etc. played in the background and he said "They taught us how to LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE...They taught us how to LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE..."

I thought "If anyone out there learned how to love from Ted Nugent or Brett Michaels, they're pretty frikkin' pathetic."

11. I actually like a lot of hair metal!!

Hanoi Rocks, first 2 Crue lps, Soho Roses, Demolition 23, Jerusalem Slim, Fallen Angels, Girl, Guns n Roses, Dogs D'amour, Jetboy and more. I just consider 'em rock-n-roll bands.

My beloved New York Dolls probably would've been labeled a hair band had they been around a decade later. To me, Hanoi Rocks was the best band of the 1980s and I heard 'em all, from SST records to Alt Tentacles to Touch and Go and back again. Rocknroll should be about cars, girls and good times IMO.

Most of the bands on your list are terrible though. Think I'll vote for Warrant because 'Cherry Pie' might've been the worst of 'em.
