Best eye care clinics in the US? |
|
Not Lasik or anything like that, but actual eye disease care.
Can anyone recommend (perhaps by personal experience, as a patient or nurse or doctor or other health professional) an excellent eye care clinic in the US? A good friend's wife has some sort of retinal deterioration; she had surgery a decade ago and it helped, but her eyes are failing again and they'd like to seek treatment here. I don't know the specific problem she has.
Mods: I'm not asking for medical advice, but if this violates any DU rules, please lock.

11. Twice, I drove parishioners to Ames for cataract treatment |
|
and they both went well. Another had one done someplace in Ft. Dodge, and had real trouble afterwards. Also, all of my parishioners with macular degeneration--three or four--went to Wolfe. Really fine reputation.
