It's the only country where I felt intimidated by the train conductors. Invariably (while looking down their noses at me) they asked me questions like, "How long will you be staying in our country?"

do you make your own marzipan carrots? Probably a dumb question because I know I've seen pictures of the amazing marzipan you can buy in Europe. (reminder to self -- buy marzipan tomorrow). I zested a lemon the other day and I've got lemon knuckles to prove it. You can buy the zest fresh or is it dried? How come the food is so much better there than here? Will you share your recipes?
