My sister's having her 3rd elbow surgery tomorrow.

Some here may know she fell off a pool ladder onto concrete this summer and shattered her elbow, also cracking some ribs. The original "surgeon" screwed up so badly he almost crippled her for life. The second surgeon did a good job, but the joint he used turned out to not be the correct one, so they had to find a firm to custom make one for her. Now they have it, and finally it's time to go back in and do it over.

For good or for bad, I feel this will be the definitive one. I hope so- she's been in tremendous pain for months, and her arm has been in various casts and has been pretty much useless to her. And although I HAVE enjoyed tormenting her (I'm her brother- being a dedicated pain in the ass is in my contract.) it's time for her to heal.

I sincerely hope she'll be getting a great Christmas present this year- the full use of her arm again.
