My mom asks for the weirdest gifts for Christmas.
I guess this is why I love her. I asked her to make out a Christmas list and this is what was on it...

Tetris for the PC
Boom! Voices of the Sixties by Tom Brokaw
And, the weirdest of them all, a Black and Decker Scumbuster to clean the bath with.

I got her the last two, still trying to find Tetris for the PC.

Crazy mom. :)

2. There are about a billion clones of Tetris on the Internet...
That all play on the PC, you should Google for it.

3. Yeah, I just don't know if I have enough time to order 'em.
I'm hoping some store has a pack with Tetris and a bunch of other games.

7. There are some free ones to download...
Not necessarily shareware or anything. I found a cool 3D version a few years ago, but I deleted it and forgot what it was called.

4. I almost asked for this steam mop cleaner thing that I saw on an infomercial
it was cool

it uses steam to clean so there's no need for cleaning liquids

6. Why didn't you?

My mom is always asking for cooking and cleaning things. She isn't big into real material things, unless it's fairies or leprechauns and with other Celtic stuff.

8. My mom asks for strange things as well...
She'll ask for everyday items like panty-hose, printer paper, and hand lotion. She also gives strange gifts. A few years ago she gave me a paper shredder and maybe five years ago she gave me a Scumbuster (which is still in the box!). I think she was trying to tell me something.

9. I would love all of those.
I am a mom and I don't find any of those things odd. :)
