Prayers and good thoughts for my father, please; he has pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma, to be exact. He underwent a Whipple operation yesterday, and they excised most of the mass on the head of the pancreas. They weren't able to get it all, though, and he'll need radiation and chemo. This form of cancer has only a 10% survival rate, so, help from my fellow DU-ers, please.

I can't describe how much I despise pancreatic cancer. I loathe it. It has taken my SO's closest relatives (her older sister and just two weeks ago her mother). Don't be afraid to ask for help from those around you.
