I gave Greta a cultured pearl necklace and matching ear rings. Living with me, she's definitely earned them!

When we were traveling, Jim was booting up the laptop to surf. He looked over at me and I reached into my pocket, pushed the on button on my iPod and started to surf. He was up and running a couple of minutes later looking a bit sour. LOL

34. If you go to www.jailbreakme.com, it pretty much does the whole process for you automatically. You
do that from the mobile browser on the ipod. The website does the hack and then fixes the security hole that lets you do the hack in the first place. It's really easy to do, less than 5 minutes and you're good to go. If you don't like it, you go back to iTunes and just click on the restore button and it puts you back to the factory settings.

44. It's Roboquad
...a four-legged, spider-like robot with unprecedented mobility and awareness. The Roboquad is designed with advanced sensory awareness, helping it react quickly to the surrounding environment and pursue a moving object in any direction, including forward, backwards, and sideways. When an object such as a cat or a remote control car passes, the robot's head swivels around so it can monitor its environment without moving. After it sweeps the room with a tightly focused infrared beam, it makes rapid decisions about how to react to its environment. Once it identifies the object--the sensitive infrared detector can see objects as far as 13 feet away while also identifying their size and spatial details--the Roboquad heads out in one of three speeds, navigating through doorways and detecting table edges in the process. Your cat will meow in amazement, as will your guests.

I'm looking forward to my cat meowing in amazement. :D

12. Couldn't think of any surprises this year
So he's getting a pair of Minnitonka mocassins and four Flamenco CDs. I always try for a surprise - last year made him a batik pillocase for his king=size pillow. After 51 Christmases together I'm flat-lining ogiginal thinking. Of course some times it can get too original. Our first Christmas together, six weeks before the wedding, I got a .22 rifle with a carved stock and work on the metal parts. Just what every bride needs. My consolation was that I wasn't going to he stood up at the altar. After all, I came wit the gun he'd lusted after since childhood.

33. I went back to bed this morning.
Not for any hanky panky, mind you. I'm just an early riser. I wake up after only 6 hours of sleep. It's like "Boom!" - six hours are up and so am I! He always wishes I would come back to bed, especially when it's cold, so we can snuggle. This morning, I got up at 4 a.m. and then went back up around 5:30 and snuggled back in with him and stayed there until 7:30. That was his present.

(We don't exchange Christmas gifts.)

36. I got him a nice watch, Colbert's book, and some shirts.
He was thinking out loud that maybe wearing a watch would keep him more on schedule at work, and I found a nice-looking one on Overstock for $40. I got the Colbert book when it was on sale at B&N and the shirts on major sale at Steve and Barry's. He'd been wanting new t-shirts for around the house (which means I get to take the older, ratty ones to Goodwill!) and needing a new work shirt.

He got me my new perfume. Yay! :)

A vintage action figure he'd wanted for a very, very long time. He'd been agonizing over it (it was listed with an online antiques store), and I bought it out from under him. He bitched about "some asshole" buying it out from under him until he opened the box yesterday. :P I said, "'Some asshole' turned out to be your wife." He loved it! I also got him a cordless drill and cordless screwdriver, which he requested. :)
